Vancouver Symphonic Bath

About music, Oliver Wendell Holmes once said: Take a music bath once or twice a week…you will find it is to the soul what a water bath is to the body.

Despite the snow falling, we lathered up for a hot bath at the Vancouver Symphony last night.  A supporter was kind enough to donate Symphony tickets to attendees of the Caya Book Launch last month.  This kind gesture made the Oprheum a joyous place for me, personally, to walk into, as we were seated amidst all the wonderful people who came to the launch at Caya. *big smile and warm heart*

The renowned Bramwell Tovey was conducting Doctor Atomic—A Symphonic Extravaganza!~

It’s always such a joy to hear the symphony perform and it really does, like Holmes said, bathe the soul.  So does a delicious dinner and drinks with friends beforehand!

If you’ve never attended the symphony in your town, be sure to put it on your To Do list.  Not only is it spiritually satisfying, it’s super important to support the arts!
